Citra Real Estate Limited (CREL) is a Sembcorp Group Company. Incorporated on 7th May 2007 under the Companies Act, 1956.

CREL is actively involved in the renewable energy sector in India. The Company is engaged in development, ownership and operation of a utility scale solar power project aggregating to 2 MW (2.1 MWp DC).

The projects were awarded to CREL by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) India in the year 2010.

The project is in Katol, Maharashtra in a MIDC Industrial Estate. The projects were successfully completed in November 2011 (Commercial Operations Date) and have demonstrated a successful operating track record of over 9 years. The power is sold to MSEDCL under a 25-year long-term PPA.

The project has been developed with most reliable partners in the industry. The project is spread across 19 acres of land leased from MIDC to Sepset Constructions Limited (a group company) under a 95-year lease and sub-leased to CREL.
