Sembcorp is committed to improving access to healthcare for our communities and promoting the importance of physical fitness, health and wellness. In line with the government's National Rural Health Mission, our initiatives are aimed at developing a community-based service delivery model to fill gaps in the healthcare infrastructure and reach socially and economically underserved rural populations. We focus on rendering primary healthcare services to rural communities across several states where we operate. Supporting eye treatments including cataracts of economically weaker sections of society, and providing Mobile Medical Care Units to improve access to preventive healthcare is among the initiatives that underscore our priority of caring for the health of our communities. Sembcorp’s Arogya initiative and Mobile Medical Care Units (MMCUs) are making a big difference in rural regions of the country by offering critical primary healthcare that is easily accessible. Its effectiveness in providing for underserved areas and communities in need is helping some of the most vulnerable and marginalized populations.
